*~.:LEXIE:.~*

Lexie had her first dance performance on Wednesday night at the Festival of the Trees. It was such a crazy day! She fell asleep at about 2:30 and I was so happy because she needed a nap! Usually she sleeps for a couple hours but this time I had to wake her up at almost 5:30! We were supposed to be at the Red Lion at 6:10 and she was scheduled to perform at 6:30. I curled her hair and got her dressed as fast as I could and we left the house at 6:00. We got almost halfway there and realized that we forgot her wings! So we had to turn around and go back home, I was so worried that we would make her miss her first performance! We finally got to the hotel at 6:20. I was so nervous for her! I was hoping that she wouldn't be too shy to dance. I don't think I could have danced in front of all those people but it didn't bug her at all! She LOVED it, she was grinning the whole time! She did so good!

Here is a Video that Broc took of her dance:

Update!

I have been such a slacker! I can't believe it's been over a month since I updated my blog! Things have been so crazy lately. Here are some pictures to show you what we've been up to!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween came a little early for us this year. Kenzie's volleyball team made it to state and since it's her senior year we wanted to go support her so we dressed the kids up and took them trick-or-treating on Tuesday night. Since Mandy wasn't going to have the boys over the weekend, they came with us. It was so much fun to see them in there cute little costumes! They had so much fun and got lots of candy!

Lexie was Sleeping Beauty and she LOVED her pink dress! She was so excited that she finally got to wear it! She has been asking me for weeks if she could "just wear it for a minute." She sure loves her princesses! She can name just about every Disney princess. While we were out trick-or-treating we went to Ryan and Robin Crapo's house. Ryan was trying to talk to Lexie but she was being shy and wouldn't even look to him. He asked her what her costume was and she wouldn't answer him. Then he said, "you look so pretty in your Cinderella dress." Lexie turned to him and yelled, "I'm not Cinderella, I'm Sleeping Beauty!" It was so funny! I think it shocked Ryan because she was being so quiet and shy two seconds before that and now she was yelling at him. Like I said she really likes her princesses!

Deegan was a monkey this year. I saw this costume online and fell in love with it!
It was so soft and warm. Deegan didn't seem to mind it too much.
I'm pretty sure that we had the cutest little monkey around!

Here is a picture of the kids at Blayne and Leslie's house. Seth was the Transformer Optimus Prime, Ashton was the blue Power Ranger, and Connor was Woody from Toy Story.

Go Diggers!

Here are a couple of pictures from Kenzie's volleyball tournament in Coeur d'Alene. She did so good! They ended up taking 4th place! We had so much fun hanging out with Broc's mom and Grandma. Broc's aunt, Jill and her daughter Addy drove over from Seattle and stayed one night with us. We did a little shopping, ate some really good food, and watched a lot of volleyball. I made the kids shirts that said, "Go Diggers" on the front with "McArthur" and the number "5" on the back. (that was Kenzie's number) Lexie was so excited to show off her shirt! It was so cute to see her clapping and cheering for Kenzie. She got a little volleyball at the game and now she runs around the house throwing the ball and saying that she's playing ball like Kenzie.

Our Hike

We were sitting at my parents house on Sunday and Broc decided that he wanted to go hike up the Butte. I was shocked because we really aren't hikers, but I went along with it. Mandy and Seth came with us. I really didn't think that any of us would make it to the top. I'm not sure exactly how many miles it is but my mom said she thinks its about 2 or 3 miles. The weather was pretty nice except for the wind. Of course we couldn't take the nice trail that was made to make the hike a little easier. Broc lead us straight up the steepest part! I got about half way up and my lungs were burning and my ears and jaw were killing me! It sucks to be out of shape! I took a little break and kept on going. I wasn't about to give up and be the only one not to make it! We finally made it to the top and the view was AMAZING!! I am so proud of Seth he did awesome! He made it all the way to the top and didn't complain once! He loved to look in the little caves and climb on the rocks. I am so happy that Broc made us go! Here are a few of the pictures I took on our hike.

I realize this isn't the best picture of us but keep in mind we were exhausted and this is only about 3/4 of the way to the top!

Me and Broc at the top of the butte.

Two Months Old!

Wow...I can't believe that Deegan is already 2 months old! I took him for his 2 month check-up and he is now 11lbs! He is getting so big! He is still the best baby! He is almost always happy and loves to smile. He lights up whenever Lexie talks to him and loves Seth and Connor. Connor always tells me that Deegan isn't my baby, he's his baby!

Our Little Dancer!

Lexie is still taking dance once a week and LOVES it! She has her first performance next Wednesday at the Festival of the Trees. It is so fun to watch her dance around the house! In these pictures she was showing me her dance moves.

I am so excited because this weekend we are taking Lexie to see Disney Princesses on Ice! She is going to love it! I'll try to post some pictures next week.

Well, I think that pretty much covers what we've been up to over the last month. I hope that everyone is doing good!
