One Month!

I can't believe that Deegan is already one month old! He is getting so big! It seems like yesterday we were just coming home from the hospital. He is still a really good baby! He only wakes up once in the night to eat and it's usually at 3 or 4am and he hardly ever cries!

I hope he keeps it up because it is so nice!

Last night he smiled at me for the first time! He's smiled before but usually it's when he's sleeping (and it was probably just gas) but last night he was wide awake and I was talking to him and he gave me the biggest smile and then cooed! It was so cute! When Broc got home from school I told him about it and he was so bummed that he didn't get to see it. Then like five minutes later Broc was holding Deegan and he smiled for him too!

It's so fun to see more of his personality.

More new pictures!

Last weekend we went to one of Crapo's farms and to a bridge in St. Anthony and took some pictures. They turned out pretty cute except for the sun was in our eyes. We only got one of our family together because Lexie was more interested in playing on the rocks than smiling for a picture.

New Pics!

Here are some new pics that I took with my new camera! I still need more practice but I'm having so much fun with it! I am also learning how to use the photoshop software and loving it so far.

A busy week!

We have had a crazy but great week. Deegan was born on Tuesday, Aug. 25th at 1:48pm. I am so lucky because his labor was fast, easy and pretty much painless. I had the best doctors and nurses too! We came home from the hospital on Wednesday and even though the hospital staff was really good to us, we were SO happy to be home! Lexie was so excited to see Deegan when she got home on Wednesday night! Broc took the rest of the week off of work to help me with the kids. It was so nice to have him home with us!

I can't believe that Deegan is already a week old! He is such a good baby, he hardly even makes a sound. The only time he fusses is when he is hungry. He also does really good at night. He usually only wakes up once around 3am and then sleeps till 6:30 or 7am. It's so nice! He had his first doctors appointment on Monday and he gained 5oz so now he weighs 6lbs 11oz. Lexie has been such a good big sister! She loves to hold him and give him kisses! She has also been a big help to me, she gets me diapers and helps feed him his bottle.

Saturday was me and Mandy's birthday. I turned 27! Broc bought me a new digital camera for my birthday! I am still trying to learn how to use it, but so far I LOVE IT! We couldn't really do much for my birthday with the new baby so we went to my parents house and watched Lexie ride her four-wheeler. She is getting to be such a good little rider! We also weeded our garden (fun, I know but it needed done). Then we went to dinner with Blayne, Leslie, Ted and Nancy. After dinner we went to Blayne and Leslie's house where we had cake and ice cream. Overall I had a great birthday, it was so nice to spend it with my family.

On Monday Lexie started dance. Mandy watched Deegan for us so we could both go with Lexie to her first day of dance class. She was so excited! When the class started she was being pretty shy, she didn't really do much other than look around at the other little girls. Most of the girls in her class were either acting the same as Lexie or crying. The teacher said that the first few classes are like this and then they all get used to the teacher and each other and have fun so that made me feel a little better about the situation. I am so proud of Lexie for staying the whole time all by herself and not crying. I think that she will love dance when she gets used to her class.
