Water Slide!

Here are some pics of the kids playing on the water slide we borrowed from John and Melissa. They had a blast playing on it! Maybe next summer we will have to invest in one of our own. Thanks Kenzie for bringing it to us and thanks John and Melissa for letting us use it!

OuR DaY aT tHe ZoO!

I wanted to do something fun with Lexie today so we decided to go to the zoo. She was so excited to go and couldn't wait to see the animals! She was pretty sure that curious George lived there and was going to say "hi" to her. She also wanted to pet him. I told her that probably wouldn't happen but she didn't believe me.

Lexie loved to watch me feed the goats but she wouldn't try it herself because she was afraid that they would bite her.

Lexie thought this drinking fountain was pretty cool. It was so funny cuz every time she went to get a drink she would push too hard and squirt herself in the face.

So this is kind of a bad picture but this monkey was so funny it would swing down the ropes and tree, grab a handful of grass and then swing back up to the top and eat the grass. Lexie thought it was so fun to watch! This is the monkey that she called "George". We didn't get to see the rest of the monkeys because they were in a building and the second we stepped inside the building Lexie started freaking out saying that it was "too stinky" and asked me to get her out of there!

Here is Lexie standing in front of the "abra" aka Zebra cage. She loved the Zebras and was so excited to tell Broc about how they were trying to eat the tree. Overall I think Lexie really liked going to the zoo. It's so funny because whenever anyone asks her how the zoo was she tells them "its stinky!"

Summer Fun!

I have been so bad about updating my blog lately. So here it goes. I am doing pretty good. I've been feeling good, but big! I can't believe I only have 7 weeks left! (Unless "Baby D" decides to come early...wishful thinking) We are so excited to meet our little guy! If you don't already know we are going to name him Deegan Broc McArthur. Broc and I have loved this name for a really long time and are so excited that we are getting a little boy so we can use it. Lexie is really excited for him to come home too. Everyday she asks when "baby deenan" is coming home. She loves to help me decorate his room and play in his crib. She also likes to kiss my tummy and feel the baby kick her.

I am almost done with his room and am so happy with how it is turning out! Lexie's room is almost all finished as well. (we had to move Lexie downstairs because we only have two rooms upstairs) Lexie loves her new room especially the butterflies on her wall. She loves to tease her aunt Mandy by saying that she is the pink butterfly and Mandy is the yellow one. It's silly but every time they are around each other they fight over who gets to be the pink butterfly, so far the only person that Lexie will let be the pink butterfly is grandpa Royce. She also loves her "big girl bed"! Thanks to Nana and Papa Whyte for giving us a bedroom set for her. I'll post some pics of the kids' rooms when they are all finished.

I am also so happy to say that Lexie is potty trained!!!! She has been doing so good! I used the "3-day" method which wasn't really 3-days for us but definitely gave us a good start. She still has accidents every once in a while but for the most part does really well.

I am so happy that it finally feels like summer! We have been having so much fun this summer by going camping, on four-wheeler/Rzr rides, and just enjoying the sunshine (when we get it). Here are some pics of what we've been up to.

Lexie loves to play outside in the water! It took her a little while to get used to getting sprayed on the slip n' slide but now she loves to play on it.

The last few weekends we have been going to Tendoy camping. We love to camp out there because its not crowded, has tons of fun four-wheeler trails, and my aunt and uncle have a cabin there so we have electricity and water. These pics of Lexie playing T-ball were taken in Tendoy. Lexie LOVES to play ball and Broc is more than happy to play with her!

Broc has been teaching Lexie how to ride her four-wheeler all by herself. Usually we make her wear her helmet and shoes but she was just riding around the yard and Broc turned the throttle way down so she was barely moving.

These were taken on one of our rides in Tendoy. We have been lucky enough to get to use Blayne's Rzr and love it!
