We love to go camping and do pretty much anything outdoors. At the end of last summer we bought a new camptrailer. Almost every weekend during the summer we go camping. We have already been 6 or 7 times this summer, even with the cold crappy weather! This last weekend we went camping with my sister and her kids and our friends, Rory and Carie. We went to a little spot up above Kelly Canyon. It was a really good camping spot. All the kids were so excited to get out of the pick-up and play! On Saturday morning we decided to go for a four-wheeler ride. Rory and Carie wanted to take us to the waterfalls. Broc took a motorcycle and the rest of us took four-wheelers. Seth rode most of the way with Broc on the motorcycle and he loved it. It was a fun ride with some pretty steep hills but we all made it there without any problems.
The waterfalls were so pretty! It was crazy how fast the water was shooting out of them. Connor wanted to go swimming in them so bad, we had to hold him back. I found out later from my parents that this was were the old Moody dam was. Rory said that later in the summer it gets calmer and there is a really fun spot to swim. We'll have to try it sometime.
On the way back to camp we stopped and let the kids play on this big dirt hill. They had so much fun! Seth would climb up it and slid down on him butt. Connor wanted to try it but he couldn't make it up the hill, so Rory picked up Connor and took him to the top and slid down with him. It was so cute! Lexie wanted to get in on the action too so Broc took her up the hill.
Lexie loves to play with the boys. They were all so dirty when we left.
All this playing and riding must have been too much for Lexie because she fell asleep on the ride back to camp. It was kinda tricky to hold on to her and drive the four-wheeler but we made it back without any problems. I think that we all had a pretty fun weekend and
I can't wait to go on our next camping trip!
